Billing clients outside of your native country is no longer a hassle. With our newest release of BILLWAZE you are now able to send your invoices in one of thirteen available languages. In addition, you’re also now able to bill in over 100+ currencies. So let’s take an example … if you’re in the United states and have a client in Brazil, you will now able to change the invoice language to ‘Portuguese’ as well as be able to bill them in their native currency, the Brazilian Dollars.If you have another client in Canada, you’ll be able to set the language to English and bill them using the Canadian dollars … and so on and so forth. How to Setup Multi-Lingual and Multi-Currency Setting up these new features is simple but how you go about doing it depends on what you intend to accomplish. Simply said, if you wish to apply a new language and/or new currency to all your current and future clients, do so directly from the Company Profile. Being that the "Company Profile" is where you make global changes to everything within your company, changing the language and currency there will understandably effect all your clients. Setup using the Company Profile To change these settings globally, using the left menu select Admin Settings-&gt;Company Setup / Profile. Next, click on the "Default Client Profile" Tab, and then the "Invoicing" Tab. Notice the drop down menus on the bottom right of the screen (as shown below ). <img src="https://dashboardassets.eb-pages.com/uploads/6417908828209152/image_png_Apr_29_2022_04_08_41_78_PM.png" alt="" width="inherit" height="inherit"> To change the default language for all your clients, select a language from the "Language to bill your clients?" drop down. Note- this will change the language on all current and future invoices. To change the currency, simply select a new currency from the "Which currency to bill your clients?" drop down. Once changed, this will effect all new invoices for all clients moving forward. To save your changes, click "Save" on the bottom right of your screen.Changes made within the "Company Profile" will apply to all clients not using the "Custom Profile" feature. Clients currently assigned with a Custom Profile will not be effected by any changes done in the "Company Profile". **Important Note – Since making changes using the “Company Profile” applies to all your clients, it’s a matter of “best practice” and highly recommended that you configure multi-lingual and multi-currency using the “Custom Profile” module. Setup using the Custom ProfileWhat are custom profiles? .. and why use them with Multi-Currency and Multi-Lingual? ... Custom profiles allow you to set custom settings on a per client basis, bypassing the settings set in the company profile. From setting custom hourly rates, changing tax rates to setting custom client notifications, custom profiles allow you granular control over how your clients get billed. To change the Multi Lingual and Multi-Currency within the custom profile, navigate to Clients-&gt;Custom Profiles. If you already assigned a custom profile to a client and you wish to change their settings simply click on their name within the table. If you have not yet assigned your clients a custom profile, click on +Assign Custom Profile towards the top right of your screen. Next select the client you wish to assign a custom profile to from the drop down menu. Once saved, BILLWAZE will use the settings you just assigned to this client for all future invoices. Quick Notes<ol class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ol1"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Changing the language in Company or Custom Profiles will change the language in all prior and future invoices.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Changing a language will change it on the clients side only. This simply means that the client portal and all invoices sent will appear to the client in the language you selected. This article will discuss how to setup the multi-currency and multi-currency features within BILLWAZE.

****Quick Notes****
