Terms and conditions play a critical roll in invoicing. They set client expectations as to how long they have to pay the invoice. In addition, some companies use Terms and Conditions to include additional details on the type of payment methods they accept, bank routing information, etc. While many companies use simple verbiage such as “Net 30” to indicate they expect payment within thirty days, what you write is totally dependent on how you work and what you want to ultimately convey to your clients. BILLWAZE gives you multiple ways to include Terms and Conditions within your invoices. You can do so globally so that every time you raise an invoice, the Terms and Conditions automatically appear without your intervention. As an example, let’s say your company terms for all client are “Net 30”. You set this globally using the company profile. As you create new invoices, you see that automatically “Net 30” is included in all the invoices. Down the road you pickup a new client ( e.g. Parker Barks Inc ), but for them you want the terms to be “Net 15”. You accomplish this by assigning a “Custom Profile” to Parker Barks, Inc using the Clients -&gt; Custom Profiles screen. When completed, new invoices sent to all your clients will still say “Net 30”. However, for client “Parker Barks, Inc”, the terms and conditions will indicate “Net 15”.
